Enel Trade Hungary Kft. is a dynamically growing electricity trading company with a strong international background and competitive business strategy.

The 100% Enel Trade S.p.a. subsidiary was established in 2007 to perform electricity trading activities on the Hungarian market as an independent legal entity, including cross border trading.

The goal was to to optimize business opportunities arising from the operational model change of the Hungarian electricity system, the liberalization of the electric energy market and the presence of the Enel Group in Central and Eastern Europea.

As part of the Enel Trade Origination Department, the activities consist primarily in establishing and developing relationships with key counterparties and entities in the wholesale market place, thus concluding medium-long term electricity supply contracts and obtaining a leading position in the Hungarian power market.
