At the beginning of 2009, Endesa has acquired 20% of irish ESB (Electricity Supply Board) public utility.
The already operating plants account for 1.098 MW of installed power and two more 300 MW sites are scheduled for development.
The Group's presence in Ireland accounts for circa 16% of the whole country's capacity.
