The Enel Group was the first foreign operator to have entered the Russian electricity market.
It owns 56,43% of Enel Russia (formerly Enel OGK-5), a 9,107 MW of net installed capacity company with four thermoelectric power plants in four different regions of the country.
To guarantee its presence in energy trading, Enel also owns 49,5% of RusEnergoSbyt, covering a 4% share of the Russian energy demand.
In the nuclear segment, the Group has signed a deal to collaborate with RosAtom.
