Enel regards its employees as both a resource and an important asset,
and is constantly committed to ensuring they have the opportunity to increase
their core technical, professional and managerial skills.
To this end Enel provides employees with training courses
tailored to their individual professional profiles and requirements, thereby
fostering the professional competence needed to create the future leadership of
the company.
In accordance with the Enel skills model, it is possible to classify the
aforementioned training courses as follows:
- Professional Development, which aims to increase the technical and
professional knowledge that characterizes and distinguishes the various areas
and professional families.
- Managerial Development, to increase the ability to favor integration
and a global vision of the business. These activities are directed at a
cross-section of the company population, selected without considering which
professional families the participants belong to.
- Personal Development, with the aim of developing the aptitudes and
organizational behaviors required by the various roles that exist within the
company.
Enel University develops a “Training Plan” in collaboration with the
Group’s Divisions and Companies every year, which is designed and implemented
thanks to the Company’s internal commitment and the contribution of
highly-qualified external professionals.
In specific terms, newly hired employees are of great interest to Enel
University. Each Division works together with EU to plan and design
professional training paths that are fully transversal, in order to render new
employees’ placement within the company as rapid and effective as possible.
Finally, in addition to such programs, job rotations, sessions to evaluate
skills acquired and individual learning paths regarding areas for improvement
are also scheduled.
