Competitiveness, safety and flexibility of supplies. These are the strategic priorities that have guided Enel in its direct presence in gas production. Russia is the first country in which the Company has established a vertically integrated presence and in where, when fully operational, it will produce half of the gas it will burn in its own plants.
In order to meet the needs of the domestic markets of Italy, Spain and Portugal, Enel will participate in major integrated projects concerning natural liquefied gas, it will amplify its exploration portfolio and acquire shares in the development of gas production fields.
