Enel has therefore embarked on a journey full of new challenges and new business opportunities that has enabled it to achieve excellent results and sees it engaged in achieving ever more ambitious goals.

That is why, in 2008, Enel has adopted a new mission: to create and deliver value in the international energy market, favouring the needs of customers, shareholders' investments, competitiveness of countries in which it operates and expectations of those who work with the company. Enel serves the community, respecting the environment and the safety of people, with a commitment to ensuring the next generations a better world.
