Gianfilippo Mancini

Generation and Energy Market Director

Born in 1965, he graduated in Economics in Genoa and specialized in Business Administration at the Columbia University of New York. He covered positions of increasing responsibility in Olivetti’s audit and management control, both in Italy and abroad.

In 1997, he began working as manager in Enel, reaching the position of responsible for planning and control of the Group. In 2003 he became responsible of fuel management and, subsequently, of energy management.

In 2007 he was named Generation and Energy Management Director, the Enel Group division for the procurement of fuels as well as for the production of thermal power plants and programmable renewables in Italy, the sale of energy on wholesale markets and the trade of energy products on international markets.

Since 2008, he is also the Director of the Market Division, which manages and develops the final market for electricity and gas in Italy.
