Gianfilippo Mancini

Director of the Market Division

Born in 1965, he graduated in Economics in Genoa, with a specialization in Business Administration achieved at Columbia University, New York. He has covered positions of increasing managerial responsibility in the audit and management control of Olivetti, operating both in Italy and abroad.

In 1997, he begins working at Enel’s management group, and reaches the position of responsible for planning and control of the Group. In 2003 he became responsible for the fuel management and, subsequently, fot the energy management.

Since 2007, he is the Director the Generation and Energy Management Division, the Enel Group Division responsible for procurement of fuels, production of thermal power plants and programmable renewables in Italy, sale of energy on wholesale markets and trading of energy products on international markets.

Since 2008, he is also the Director of the Market Division, the Enel Group Division responsible for managing and developing the final market for electricity and gas in Italy.
