Francesco Starace

Renewable Energy Division Director and Chief Executive Officer of Enel Green Power

A nuclear engineer with a degree from the Polytechnic of Milan, after a brief experience in the Italian nuclear field, he began a career in the engineering and construction of power plants, with tasks of increasing importance in the major company of the GE group, and thereafter of the ABB group.

He lived abroad for several years, between the United States, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Bulgaria.

Before joining Enel in 2000, he lived in Switzerland and was head of all international Sales activities and Construction of CCGT and Turbogas plants of the ABB group, and later of ALSTOM.

In Enel, he headed the area of Electric Power for Businesses within the Generation and Energy Management Division since it was created, then he was named Director of the Market Division and is currently Renewable Energy Division Director and Chief Executive Officer of Enel Green Power.
