Gianluca Comin
Director of External Relations
Born in Udine, he is married and has three children. With a degree in
Communications, he joined Enel in 2002 as Director of Communications.
Currently, as Director of External Relations, he is also in charge of
Institutional Relations in Italy and abroad.
Previously, he was Media Liaison Director at Telecom Italia and Director of
External Communications at Montedison.
Between 1997 and 1998 he was spokesman for the Minister and Press Officer of
the Ministry of Public Works.
In the ten previous years he had been economic and parliamentary editor of
the "Il Gazzettino” newspaper.
Gianluca Comin is president of the Italian Federation of Public Relations
(FERPI) and a member of the board of Civita, a non-profit association that
includes 170 members (institutions and companies both in the public and private
sectors) engaged in cultural promotion.
Moreover, he has been part of public sector institutions such as the
Communications Committee of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, the Advertising
and Communication Trends Commission of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the
Information Committee of the 2000 Jubilee Council Presidency and member of the
Consulting Committee for the Traffic, Road and Information on Road Safety
Coordination Center .
Gianluca Comin is the Executive Director of Enel Cuore Onlus.
He is a member of the National Council of Confindustria, Executive Vice
President for the Grande Industria di Unindustria Venezia-Unione Industriali of
the Venice Province and Regional Counselor of Confindustria Veneto.
He teaches strategic communication and marketing at the Department of
Economics of the Luiss University and in in several other Universities, also
holding Masters on financial and institutional reporting.
