Nuclear Power
Enel is the only group that operates four reactor types. Moreover
Enel is also building two out of three new project in Europe: Mochovce III,
IV and Flamanville III in France. With a total production
capacity of 5,680 MW and engaging 4,000 employees and technicians, Enel is
present in five countries:
- Spain: through Endesa with PWR and BVR technologies (3640 MW
installed capacity - 26 TWh annual production);
- Slovakia: through Slovenské Elektrárne with VVER (1840 MW
installed capacity - 12.2 TWh annual production);
- France: through EDF with the 3rd generation+ EPR system
(1,600 MW);
- Romania: through the participation to a consortium for the
construction of two reactors with Candu technology;
- Russia: through the agreement with Rosatom for the joint development
of new power plants.
