Following the recent liberalization, Enel is determined to pursue
business opportunities in the renewable energy and traditional fuels
sectors.
In particular, through the controlled company Enelco, it holds a license
for a 430 MW combined cycle power plant (CCGT) in the Viotia region, for which
the authorization procedure is being completed.
The Group also manages renewable plants for an installed capacity of 112 MW and
is working on projects for another 1.,400 MW.
