Since 2006 Enel owns a 66% share in Slovenské Elektrárne. Its net installed capacity amounts to 5,401 MW, of which 1,816 MW from nuclear energy and the rest from coal fired thermoelectric and hydroelectric power.
Furthermore, a 2,775 billion Euro investment has been allocated to complete the Mochovce nuclear power station. It is the largest overseas investment in the country.
