In 2011, for the eigth year in a row, Enel is admitted to the prestigious Dow Jones Sustainability Index and the selective Dow Jones World. In particular, the latter includes only 342 of the 2,500 major companies in the world which are top as regards sustainability. In March 2011, the Enel Group was also admitted to the prestigious FTSE4Good index and in September 2011 Semi-Annual Review there was the re-confirmation, with an increase in the ESG Absolute Score from 3.5/5 to 4/5. Moreover, still in September 2011, Enel was admitted to the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP)’s ranking of the world’s most sustainable companies, the Carbon Performance Leadership Index.
