Gianluca Comin in Endesa's Board of Directors
The Board of Directors of the Spanish company, which met Monday, September
14th, co-opted the Director of External Relations of Enel as
independent director on the proposal of shareholder Enel
Born in Udine, Gianluca Comin is married and has three children. Graduated
in Communication Sciences, Comin joined Enel in 2002 as Director of
Communications. Currently, as Director of External Relations, he is also in
charge of Institutional Relations in Italy and internationally.
Previously, he worked as Director of Media Relations at Telecom Italy and at
Montedison as Director of External Relations.
Between 1997 and 1998 he was spokesman for the Minister and Press Officer of
the Ministry of Public Works.
In the ten previous years he was editor of the Economic and parliamentary
newspaper “Il Gazzettino”.
Gianluca Comin is president of the Italian Federation of Public Relations
(FERPI) and member of the board of Civita, a non-profit association that brings
together 170 members (institutions and enterprises both public and private)
engaged in the promotion of culture.
Moreover, he has been part of public institutions such as the Committee for
the communication of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, the Commission on
trends in advertising and communication of the Ministry of Economy and Finance,
the Committee on Information at the Presidency of the Council for Jubilee 2000
and the CCISS advisory Commission (Center for Coordination of information on
traffic), on traffic and road safety.
Gianluca Comin is a counselor of Enel Cuore Onlus.
He is a member of the National Council of Confindustria, Executive Vice
President of Grande Industria of Unindustria Venezia-Unione Industriali
Provincia Venezia and Regional Counsellor of Confindustria Veneto.
Among other activities he carries out, he is a professor at the Department
of Economics at Luiss University, where he teaches courses on strategic
communication and marketing. He lectured at numerous Universities and Masters
on financial and institutional communication.
