Our widespread international presence has prompted a new organization and a
team effort to harmonize procedures for comparison and instances coming from
different stakeholders
The Major Infrastructural Projects Unit develops and realises major
Enel strategic projects, in a mega community logic.
The International Affairs Unit is concerned with presenting the
interests and positions of Enel at the national and institutional bodies. It is
also prepared to coordinate and manage the consensus of the community towards
the company’s projects and businesses.
The Unit for External Relations with the Territory and Confindustria
relates with local institutions to determine consensus and assure success of
strategic projects.
The Unit for CSR and Relations with associations systematically
confronts with the associations representing segments such as consumers,
environmentalists, small and medium enterprises, local authorities, to prevent
any critical issues and initiate shared projects with the Associations.
Another example of a relationship with the community and particularly with
future generations is the Enel Historic Archive, established in Naples
in 2008, and which includes a significant documentary heritage in terms of
quantity and quality, with a repertoire of over 13,000 meters of documents of
notable historical interest.
To keep alive Enel’s relationship with the territory we created
Energiaper: a project container divided into six areas: culture, music,
science, environment, school and sports.
In particular, the project in meant to increase:
- active participation in the life of the local community,
- the promotion of new cultural and social initiatives that provide
opportunities for growth in the area,
- openness and accessibility of the facilities.
