Enel Cuore

Enel Cuore is the Onlus made by Enel to create a non-profit organization through which  could express its commitment to social welfare and development, with  respect for the Code of Ethics.

The Onlus was established in 2003 to express Enel's commitment in supporting projects, fund-raisings and social solidarity in Italy and abroad, in particular in the Countries of Eastern Europe and Latin America, in favor of children, the ill, the elderly, and the disabled.

These projects are divided as follows:

• Housing projects
To support the construction and redevelopment of centers that take care of troubled children and adolescents.

• Health Care
To support sick people purchasing  equipment for the care of the seriously ill. Enel together with patients associations helps children in hospitals, creating spaces to play and the warmth of a real home.

• Educational projects
To build training centers that are equipped with the necessary educational material for young students who live in war ravaged countries .

• Sport
To promote sports activities through buying equipments and building sports centers in order to promote socialization also among disabled people.
