In December 31, 2008, 75,981 employees worked in Enel (73,500 at the end of 2007). Last year’s increase of 2,481 employees is due to changes in scope related to the foreign companies (+3,891 employees) that have more than offset the net balance between recruitment and terminations (-1,410 units).
By December 31, 2008, 35,654 employees were engaged in companies of the Group based abroad.
