Environmental Policy
The environment, climate change combat and sustainable development are
strategic in our activities and in consolidating our leadership in the
energy market.
In particular, our environmental policy is founded on three basic principles
and aims at achieving ten strategic objectives.

- Environmental and product quality improvement.

- Application to the organization of internationally recognized environmental
management and safety on the job systems.
- Optimal insertion of industrial plants and buildings in the territory.
- Reduction of environmental impacts through the best technologies and
practices available in the stages of construction, operation and
decommissioning of the plant.
- Leadership in renewable sources and low emission electricity
generation.
- Efficient use of energy resources, water and raw materials.
- Optimum management of wastes and wastewater in general.
- Development of innovative technologies for the environment.
- Disclosure and transparency towards citizens and institutions on the
Company's environmental management.
- Train employees and raise awareness about environmental topics and
safety.
- Encourage suppliers and contractors to undertake sustainable environmental
practices.
