Enel Green Power is the company of the Enel Group established to develop and
manage renewable energy operations throughout the world.
It currently manages around 4,500 MW of renewable energy, from over 500 plants
that operate throughout the world, to which an ambitious set of development
projects is to be added, which will produce a substantial growth, in the next
few years, in all major technologies.
In 2008, 17.3 TWh (billion MWh) were generated, sufficient to meet the demand
of approximately 6,500,000 homes, avoiding the emission of 13 million tonnes of
CO2.
