Ranstad Award

Randstad (an international holding company that specializes in recruitment and training) has granted Enel Green Power the Randstad Award for its ability to "draw attention" from job seekers. The decision was based on EGP’s environmental and social sensitivity, which is appealing to whoever is looking for a job or wants to change it.

Ruban d’Honneur - European Business Awards

The Group  was awarded the Ruban d’Honneur in two consecutive 2009 and 2010 editions of the European Business Awards, within the ‘Corporate Sustainability’ category, for having efficiently communicated with stakeholders, and for the ‘Sustainability day’ and the ‘International Safety Week’ initiatives. Also, in 2009 Enel was acknowledged in the category “Environment Awareness”. The European Business Awards is considered a showcase for European economic achievements. It was established in 2006, to acknowledge excellence and innovation of companies in the 27 countries of the European Union that are engaged in economic, industrial and environmental development, and it is promoted by organizations such as CMS, AXA, Grey EMEA, Siemens, Société Générale and The Wall Street Journal Europe.

Premio Etica e Impresa - RavelloFestival 2010

In 2010, Enel won the "Premio Etica e Impresa" for Sustainable development category awarded at the RavelloFestival 2010, specifically for having established the Observatory for Industrial, Environmental and Employment Policies. The latter is a body that promotes study and research projects, used to compare and report Enel’s strategic choices, investments, employment levels, and development of renewable sources.

European Utility Awards 2010

The first step towards developing a smart grid is electronic meters, a technology regarding which Enel is world leader. To confirm its leadership, Enel was granted the European Utility Awards 2010, an acknowledgement for top projects promoted by European technology companies. Enel won the award in the Business Performance category for having installed in Italy 32 million electronic meters integrated into the network’s remote control system.

Social Sensibility Award to Enel Cuore Onlus

Enel Cuore, the Enel Group Onlus, was granted in December 2010 an award for its commitment towards the Mission “Speranza e Carità” of Palermo, for having set up the largest canteen for the poor in Sourthern Italy, which helps welcoming and assisting homeless people.

The international CRF institute awarded Enel, for the second consetive year, the “Top Employer” certificate for the high quality of its assessment and training systems, for career opportunities and the possibilities of development it offers its staff members.

Igualdad en la empresa

Endesa was granted “Igualdad en la empresa” (Equal opportunities in businesses) granted by the Spanish Minister for Health, Social policies and Equal opportunities, an excellence acknowledgement for companies committed to ensure its staff equal conditions and equal opportunities as regards labour conditions, organizational models and other fields such as services, products and corporate advertising.

Top Employer - CRF Institute

For the “Ecoelce” project, Endesa was also granted the Chico Mendes award, the most significant acknowledgement in Brazil for corporate social-environmental responsibiility.
