Integrated Reporting

Towards the Integrated Annual Report

Integrated reporting (IR), which combines a business’ Annual Report with the sustainability reporting methods, brings together financial, environmental, social and governance data, and aims to increase transparency in reporting, benefitting everyone from the financial community, company stakeholders and the general public.

Since 2006 Enel’s Sustainability Report has followed guidelines laid out by the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), and the Group is a member of the GRI-G4 consortium, which is developing its fourth generation of sustainability reporting guidelines. Enel also participates in the International Integrated Reporting Council’s (IIRC) pilot programme, contributing to the development of the International Integrated Reporting Framework.

Enel dedicated a section of 2013’s annual report to sustainability, incorporating a selection of ESG quatitative KPIs, just as it did the previous year.
