Institutions
“All relations with Italian or international institutions are based exclusively on forms of communication designed to evaluate the implications of legislative and administrative activities for Enel, to respond to informal requests or to acts of parliamentary control (questions, interpellations etc.), or to make known the Group’s position on topics that are of relevance to it”.
Clause 3.27 of the Code of Ethics regarding institutional relations states that Enel aims to establish stable channels of communication with institutional counterparties and a collaborative approach towards them, as well as a proactive role in joint working tables that are active in one or more fields.
Institutional relations are managed at the local, National and international level through the Institutional Affairs Unit, International Institutional Affairs, the External Relations Unit with the Territory and Confindustria, based on the guidelines of the External Relations direction. The decisions that are agreed upon with the Institutions are implemented through specific protocols of understanding, agreements and partnerships.
The Infrastructural Projects Unit has the task of establishing a dialogue with the representatives of local communities affected by the construction of significant infrastructural projects.
