Research Centers

The Enel Research Centre is one of the centres of excellence recognised by the European Community and is also recognized as a Marie Curie Site with the aim of encouraging training, mobility and career advancement among European scientists.

The Enel Research Centre operates a network of research centres, laboratories and experimental stations that together make up one of the most important technological development groups in Italy.

A group of more 170 scientists, working in the Pisa and Brindisi research centres and in the Livorno, Sesta and Marghera experimental stations, designs and tests innovative systems and technologies focused on reducing production costs and protecting the environment: competitive research that seeks to produce safe, cheaper and cleaner energy.
