Podcasting

Podcasting is a system that enables users to automatically download audio and video resources (called podcasts) using free client software. The content is stored directly on users’ computers, where it can be used or transferred to a portable device.

A podcast is a digital audio or video recording that users can download automatically, using a special program available on the Internet, to listen or watch on their computer, cellphone, iPod or other Mp3 and Mp4 devices.

In order to use the podcasting service, users must install a free software application, then select the podcast they want. The software connects to the Internet periodically (users can set the frequency they prefer) and checks if any new podcasts have been published on the site. When it finds new material, it downloads the file. The publication of new editions is notified through a RSS feed between our sites and the software.

In order to use the podcasting service, copy the link that appears when you click on the icon, then paste the link into the podcasting software.
