The Model

For some years Enel has adopted a human resource management philosophy aimed at maximising the potential of its people, which seeks to develop both technical staff and future managers from inside the company.

Enel University has been recently set up precisely to give greater importance to this choice.

Enel University’s mission is to integrate recruiting, induction and professional development activities and processes with a particular focus on the youngest bracket of employees of the company, in order to guarantee pools of skills to draw from for the ensuing managerial development, closely linked to the company’s strategic objectives of internationalization, operating excellence and market orientation.

In particular, referring to the selection process Enel mainly hires recent graduates with a view to fostering their development within the company and training them in a range of skills and professions, both in Italy and abroad.

The process of integrating new employees is carried out with great care and attention by our HR Department, through a process where the new-comers gradually learn about the company and develop their Enel international perspective and experience.
