On 25 January 2019 #EnelFocusOn returned to Santiago, Chile, to discuss e-mobility and public transport. Monica Araya, vice-chairperson of the board of the E-Mobility Association of Costa Rica and co-founder of Costa Rica Limpia, talked about how the electrification of public transport can revolutionise mobility and improve air quality and health.

Monica Araya
Monica is a clean mobility advocate and a decarbonization strategist. In 2020 she joined the Climate Champions team to lead the transport campaigns seeking to accelerate the uptake of zero-emissions mobility. This is done by working alongside the High-Level Climate Action Champions for COP26 and COP25.
She writes frequently for international and local media, and has spoken at conferences in Latin America, Europe and Asia. Her TED Talk has had over one million views and has been translated into 30 languages.
