The Internet of Things: an extraordinary opportunity for energy networks. This is the chosen theme for the next #EnelFocusOn, which is scheduled to take place in Bucharest on 26 November at 4.00 p.m. local time, in live streaming from the Magurele High Tech Cluster.

The event’s keynote speaker will be Tom Raftery, Global VP, Futurist and Innovation Evangelist at SAP, the multinational leader in management software. Fabio Veronese, Head of Infrastructure & Networks Digital Hub at Enel will also take part, along with a select panel of influencers from across the world.

The Enel Group can be considered a pioneer for its use of information intelligence to analyse the data that assist in continuously improving the efficient management of power grids and plants. Raftery will discuss how IoT technology can help utilities maximise the capacity of their grids, create innovative experiences and improve the quality of life. The proceedings will be introduced by Georgios Stassis, CEO and Country Manager at Enel Romania, and Roberto Deambrogio, Director of Communications at Enel.

This is the twelfth #EnelFocusOn, and the fourth to be held in Europe, following events in Rome, London and Madrid; the others were held in New York, San Francisco, Boston, Santiago de Chile and Goiânia in Brazil.
