E-mobility: #EnelFocusOn returns to Rome

Published on Friday, 6 April 2018

The future of electric mobility had to be the theme of choice for the upcoming #EnelFocusOn event which takes place in Rome on Friday 13 April, just the day before the maiden outing in the capital of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship to which Enel is Official Power Partner.

The guest of honour at this particular talk is Brian Solis, digital analyst, anthropologist, futurologist and principal analyst with Altimeter, a subsidiary of the consultancy company Prophet which specialises in strategies for capitalising on innovative technologies. Solis himself is particularly interested in the impact of new technologies on society and business, a subject he writes about for the likes of Adage, Forbes, Wired and VentureBeat. He is also the author of a string of successful books, including “Engage!: The Complete Guide for Brands and Businesses to Build, Cultivate, and Measure Success in the New Web” and “WTF: What’s the Future of Business? Changing the Way Businesses Create Experiences.”

Introducing the event will be Enel’s Director of Communications Ryan O’Keeffe and Enel X’s Head of e-Mobility Alberto Piglia. The meeting will also be attended by influencers from Latin America, Italy, Romania, Russia, Spain and the United States.

#EnelFocusOn returns to Rome for its eighth outing – the city hosted the first event in 2016 with London, San Francisco, New York, Madrid, Santiago (Chile) and Goiânia (Brazil) chosen as the venues for the others.
