Francesco Starace, Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of Enel, said: “I would like to thank Ryan, on behalf of the Chairman and all of our colleagues, for his contribution to the company over the last four years, in which time we have successfully modernized and refreshed Enel’s communications portfolio in support of the repositioning of the Group. Under his guidance, the Enel brand has taken on a global dimension, and a much stronger digital positioning, and today Enel stands clearly for its leadership of the transition of the energy sector. Simone and Roberto both bring a wealth of managerial experience to their respective new roles, having held a variety of senior positions in several different areas of the business over more than a decade. Their experience will enable us to continue the positive momentum we have in Communications as well as in our operations across Europe and North Africa.
