Lorenzo Ceppatelli has been appointed Director of Global Energy and Commodity Management and Chief Pricing Officer of the Enel Group from November 2025 after having served as Head of Global Demand Pricing and Risk Management since April 2022.
Mr. Ceppatelli joined the Enel Group in 2002 at an entry-level position and has built his entire professional career within the Group. Between 2008 and 2015, he held several managerial roles within the Energy Management division in Italy. From 2015, he took on positions with global responsibility, overseeing activities across all the countries where Enel operates, first as Head of Global Portfolio and Risk Management and then as Head of Global Middle Office and Risk Management from 2016 to 2022.
His career has developed across market analysis, risk management, trading, generation dispatching and bidding, as well as gas and LNG contract management.
He graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pisa.
