BESS: a more flexible grid for a more robust transition

In the first three months of 2025, five new battery storage plants went into operation, bringing the installed capacity of our battery energy storage systems (BESS) in Italy to 1 GW. We are continuing to invest in solutions that enable the growth of renewables and strengthen the national electricity system.
