Share buyback programs
Implementing the authorization granted by the Shareholders’ Meeting held on May 14, 2020 and in compliance with the relevant terms already announced to the market, the Board of Directors of the Company approved the launch of a share buyback program on July 29, 2020 for a number of shares equal to 1.72 million (the “Program”), equivalent to approximately 0.017% of Enel’s share capital.
As a result of the purchases made on October 28, 2020, the Program serving the Long-Term Incentive Plan 2020 reserved to the management of Enel and/or of its subsidiaries pursuant to Article 2359 of the Italian Civil Code and launched on September 3, 2020 has been completed.

Implementing the authorization granted by the Shareholders’ Meeting held on May 16, 2019 and in compliance with the relevant terms already announced to the market, the Board of Directors of the Company approved the launch of a share buyback program on September 19, 2019 for a maximum amount of 10.5 million euros and for a number of shares not exceeding 2.5 million (the “Program”), equivalent to approximately 0.02% of Enel’s share capital.
As a result of the purchases made on December 2, 2019, the Program serving the Long-Term Incentive Plan 2019 reserved to the management of Enel and/or of its subsidiaries pursuant to Article 2359 of the Italian Civil Code and launched on September 23, 2019 has been completed.
