After graduating in Law from the University of Milan (1996), he began his career as a lawyer in 2000 at Studio Associato Legale Tributario (SALT), which is associated with Ernst & Young. Since 2002, he has been the owner of Studio Legale Mascetti, based in Milan and Varese.
He has held the positions of sole director, board member, chairman of the Appointments and Compensation Committee, member of the board of Statutory Auditors, member and chairman of the Supervisory Board of numerous companies and banking institutions. He has been a member of the Scientific Committee of the Interdepartmental Research Center in Health, Economics, Innovation and Territory at the University of Insubria and vice chairman of the board of the Istituto Insubrico di Ricerca per la Vita (FIIRV) Foundation.
Among the many roles, he holds, he is currently a director of Private Equity International SA - Luxembourg, chairman of the board of Liquidators of Nord Energia SpA, president of CIF - Compagnia Italiana Finanziaria Srl, member of the board of statutory auditors of Volvo Construction Equipment Italia SpA, member of the supervisory board of PWC Italia Srl, and member of the General Council of the Fondazione Giorgio Cini in Venice.
Since July 2023, he has been a member of the Supervisory Board as per Italian Legislative Decree 231/2001 of the Enel Group.
