Chair of the Supervisory Board as per Italian Legislative Decree 231/2001

After graduating with honors in Law from the Federico II University of Naples (1974), she obtained her license to practice law in the higher courts with special registration (1980) and her license to teach Law and Economics.

After beginning her professional career with Poste Italiane and the Naples Chamber of Commerce, in 1979 she began working in the legal area of Enel's Naples district, taking on increasingly important roles – from Head of the Legal Department of the Calabria District to Head of the Legal Function of the Transmission Division – until 1999.

From 1999 to 2006, she was Head of the Legal Function and Corporate Secretariat at Terna S.p.A. and, until the end of 2014, member of the Supervisory Board as per Italian Legislative Decree 231/2001, as well as Head of Legal and Corporate Affairs at the same company. Until 2017 and then in 2020, she served as chair of the board of directors of Terna Rete Italia S.r.l.

Among the various roles she has held, she was a Board member of the CESI S.p.A. (until December 31, 2014); independent board member and chairman of the Audit and Risk and Related Party Transactions Committee of Italo-Nuovo Trasporto Viaggiatori S.p.A. (until April 2018); independent board member and chairman of the Appointments and Compensation Committee of Infrastructure Wireless Italiane S.p.A. (until October 2020); independent board member and chairman of the Related Party Transactions Committee of Anima Holding S.p.A. (until March 2023).

She is currently an independent board member and chairman of the Committee of Independent Directors of Caltagirone S.p.A., as well as chairman of the Supervisory Board as per Italian Legislative Decree 231/2001 of Italo S.p.A.

Since July 2023, she has been chairman of the Supervisory Board as per Italian Legislative Decree 231/2001 of the Enel Group.
