Rome, October 15, 2003 In post offices equipped with the QuiEnel service it will be possible to carry out operations relating to electricity contracts. Customers going to one of these post offices will be able to request a new contract, change or cancel their contract, communicate meter readings, obtain documentation of bill payment and information about electricity consumption and payments.
One can also modify the contracts capacity and billing address, obtain a quotation for the cost of moving a meter, and order new connections for worksites and other interventions.
For all these services, assistance will be provided by post office personnel trained by Enel Distribuzione.
The initiative will initially include 20 post offices, spread across the country, and will then be extended to many others.
