Rome, April 27th, 2021 – OpenCharge, the new integrated solution from Enel X and Enel Energia for the unlimited recharging of electric vehicles (EVs), at home or at the office, is now available. To sign up to for the offer, drivers need to have access to, or purchase, an Enel X JuiceBox, the innovative charging station available in 3.7 kW, 7.4 kW and 22 kW models, which can be installed easily and safely in your garage, private parking space or at the office. Customers who already have an existing electricity contract with Enel will be able to access the OpenCharge offer by switching products through Enel Energia, free of charge; new customers can simply sign a contract with attractive conditions and energy from 100% renewable sources. The benefits of OpenCharge also extend to public recharging, with two full tanks of energy per month from over 12,000 Enel X recharging points across Italy.

The solutions developed by Enel X and Enel Energia were designed taking the real needs of users into account, and combine recharging at home or at the office with recharging in public places. OpenCharge 20, is ideal for those with a car battery of up to 20 kWh, offering unlimited charging via the JuiceBox at home or at the office, and up to 30 kWh at Enel X public charging points. OpenCharge 50, is designed for vehicles with batteries between 21 kWh and 50 kWh, and boasts unlimited charging with the JuiceBox at home or at the office and up to 80kWh in public places. OpenCharge 75, allows you to recharge your 51kWh to 75kWh EV, offering unlimited charging through the JuiceBox and up to 150kWh per month at Enel X public recharging points. To mark the launch, the three solutions are available at a promotional rate, which can be signed up for until 31/07/2021 and is valid until 31/12/2021.
After signing up for the offer on the Enel X Store, customers can arrange for the installation of the JuiceBox and the activation of their new electricity supply. While waiting, each customer will have up to three months of free charging on the Enel X national network, including the new HPCs (High Power Chargers) which have charging power of up to 350 kW. Locating the nearest charging station and monitoring the JuiceBox's domestic consumption can be done through Enel X's innovative JuicePass app, which enables access to all Enel X electric mobility services.
