Enel informs about the purchase of treasury shares between June 20th and 24th, 2022 serving its Long-Term Incentive Plan 2022

Rome, June 28th, 2022 – Enel S.p.A. (“Enel” or the “Company”) announces that between June 20th and 24th, 2022 it purchased 394,500 treasury shares at a volume-weighted average price of 5.4063 euros per share on the Euronext Milan market organized and managed by Borsa Italiana S.p.A., for a total consideration of 2,132,769.266 euros.

The transaction follows up on the announcement on June 16th, 2022 concerning the start of a share buyback program (the “Program”), implementing the authorization granted by the Shareholders’ Meeting held on May 19th, 2022 and resolved to serve the Long-Term Incentive Plan 2022.

On the basis of the information provided by the intermediary engaged to execute the purchases, the following table summarizes, in daily and aggregate form, Enel ordinary shares’ purchases carried out by the intermediary on the Euronext Milan market during the period indicated above:

Since the beginning of the Program, Enel has purchased 454,500 treasury shares (equal to 0.004470% of the share capital), for a total consideration of 2,460,603.988 euros. Considering the treasury shares already owned, Enel holds as of June 24th, 2022 a total of 5,343,652 treasury shares, equal to 0.052560% of the share capital.
