  • The revolutionary Beyond Reporting 2022 focuses on presenting Enel’s economic, financial, social, environmental and governance performance and commitment to sustainable progress, aiming to create and share long-term value among all its stakeholders.

Rome, May 8th, 2023 – Today, Enel published its new revolutionary website dedicated to Integrated Reporting, “Beyond Reporting 2022” (beyondreporting.enel.com), a digital platform that illustrates the Group’s strategic and sustainable approach as seen through its performance in its economic, financial, social, environmental and governance areas, medium to long-term outlook, strategy, and commitment to sustainable progress. This new revolutionary tool provides an immersive experience that highlights the Group’s sustainable and integrated business model, as well as its leadership towards creating an accessible, safe, and sustainable energy system, decarbonizing its power generation, developing renewables and storage systems, alongside upgrading distribution networks as enablers for the energy transition.

The Beyond Reporting 2022 website offers straightforward browsing, focusing on the ENEL STAKECAP®© model, accelerating clean electrification and the 2023-2025 strategy. It also adds value to Enel’s Integrated Annual Report and Sustainability Report by presenting the contents from a circular perspective and highlighting how the Group’s actions are in line with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Enel reaffirms its leadership in its corporate reporting by adopting the new international standards required by the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), the guidelines of the International Business Council (IBC) of the World Economic Forum (WEF), the information required by the European Regulation that regulates disclosures in the area of sustainable finance (SFDR, Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation) and the indicators required by the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB, in relation to Enel’s primary target sector, i.e. the “Electric Utilities & Power Generators Sector”). In addition, as required by the European Union Taxonomy, ample information was made available and applied throughout the Group’s value chain and in all countries where it operates.
