Nicolò Mardegan has been Head of External Relations at Enel since January 1, 2024.
He’s been with Enel since July 2023, when he joined the Group as Head of Institutional Affairs, Sustainability and Communications at Enel Italia. Since December 2023, he has been a member of the board of Enel Cuore.
His professional career began in 2006 at the Mardegan-Conti law firm. He obtained a master's degree in Law from the University of Milan, he also obtained a master's degree in Local Governance and the European Union from Roma Tre University.
From February 2017 to June 2020, he served as Director of Institutional Relations and Business Development of the Legal and Tax Firm and Deputy Director of Institutional Relations and Communications at EY SpA. For about two years, starting in 2019, he was Head of Parliamentary Relations, Institutional Project Development and Country System Initiatives at Leonardo. His career continued at ITA Airways (November 2021- June 2023), where he was Director of Communications and Institutional and International Affairs.
In addition to the various other positions he has held, he has been a technical advisor to the Italian parliament (both the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies) and the European Parliament.
