Wave Energy – Marine Energy Generation Systems Using the Motion of the Waves

The motion that waves exert on a body is taken and transmitted to a system that turns this mechanical energy into electrical energy (turbines or electrical converters).

Involves the use of energy related to breakwater barriers, where the water that touches the barrier is accumulated in a tank and then passed through a hydraulic turbine.

The intermittent variation of the level of a water column is used, created inside a special chamber connected to the sea, which then compresses an air mass, in turn activating a turbogenerator.
