Enel at Shared Value Leadership Summit 2017

Enel CEO Francesco Starace will be among the protagonists at the 2017 Shared Value Leadership Summit scheduled on May 9 and 10 in New York.

At the plenary session of the event, on the morning of the  9 of May, Starace will be interviewed during a panel titled “The Future of Energy.” Scheduled to start at 11:00 am (local time, 5:00 pm in Italy), it will be broadcast via live streaming.

The interview will be moderated by the economist Mark Kramer, co-founder together with the economist Michael E. Porter of the Creating Shared Values theory (CSV), published in 2011 on the Harvard Business Review. Kramer is also CEO of FSG, a non-profit consulting firm dedicated to the study of social impacts on a global scale and to the development of growth strategies based on the theory of created share value.

The New York summit is promoted by the organization Shared Value Initiative, an international network that brings together global leaders from different fields of industry and business who share the idea of tackling the great social and environmental challenges before us through a sustainable approach.

The 2017 edition will see the participation of more than 400 leaders from companies, non-profit associations, institutions and governments to set out sustainable business strategies and solutions centred on the CSV theory.
