Digitalization and smart grids: #EnelFocusOn in Brazil

The future of digitalization and smart grids is the subject of the new #EnelFocusOn event which will be held in Brazil, in Goiânia, capital of the State of Goiás, on Thursday, 8 March.

The discussion will be led by Zeynep Tufekci, a professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill who writes about new technology, algorithms and Big Data for the New York Times and The Atlantic. She will explain the benefits and opportunities arising from the evolution of smart grids.

The event will be introduced by Ryan O’Keeffe, Director of Communications at Enel. Twenty influencers from South America, Spain, Italy and Romania will also take part in the debate.

The Brazilian city is hosting the seventh edition of #EnelFocusOn, following the success of similar events held in Rome, London, San Francisco, New York, Madrid and Santiago de Chile.
