{{item.title}}

Renewable energy offers an extraordinary opportunity for driving recovery following the Covid-19 emergency: investments in this sector can help to spark a green surge and kickstart the European and global economies.

This is the theme of the new #EnelFocusOn which will be live-streamed as a webinar on 6 July, from 3 p.m (GMT+1).

The event’s keynote speaker is Stephanie Kelton, a Professor at Stony Brook University, New York and one of the most influential economists in the political debate in the United States. She is also the author of a new book, “The Deficit Myth: Modern Monetary Theory and How to Build a Better Economy,” published in 2020.

She will be joined in the discussion by Antonio Cammisecra, CEO of Enel Green Power, and a panel of international experts: Sônia Araripe, Editor and Publisher of Plurale, Stefano Pogutz, Head of Sustainability Vertical at Bocconi 4 Innovation at the Università Bocconi in Milan, Kelly Speakes Backman, CEO of ESA (Energy Storage Association), and Pablo Bustamante, owner at GEOCyL, Smart Cities and GIS expert.

This is the 19th edition of #EnelFocusOn, our format featuring live talks and discussions. Previous events have been held in many cities around the world including Addis Ababa, Bogotá, Boston, Bucharest, Goiânia, London, Madrid, New York, Rome, San Francisco and Santiago de Chile.
