Accelerating the energy transition and electrification, boosting technological development and, at the same time, fueling the passion and excitement that revolves inside and outside the motorsport universe: those are the ideas that gave birth to our collaboration with Dorna, and for the sixth year running, we’re the title sponsor of the FIM Enel MotoE™ World Championship, the world championship of electric motorcycles, which is ready to return to the track on March 23 at the Algarve circuit in Portimao, Portugal.

For the 2024 season, the competition has 18 riders lined up, two from each of the nine teams competing for the title astride the Ducati V21L, the electric motorcycle developed by the Borgo Panigale-based manufacturer. A two-wheeler with zero emissions, but with maximum power and torque of 110 kW (150 hp) and 140 Nm, respectively, and a speed of up to 275 km/h (170 mph). It’s powered by the innovative charging solutions developed by Enel X, Smart Charging Partner of MotoE™. Supporting the teams in the pits and on the grid will be the technology of the Wayroll EVO Race Edition.

Our technology will accompany the eight rounds of the FIM Enel MotoE™ World Championship 2024: the races, as in the previous edition, will be held on Saturdays, on the same weekend as the three classes of the motorcycle world championship, which celebrates 75 years of competition this year.

All the championship races will be held in Europe. The first, in Portugal on March 23, will be followed by: May 11 Le Mans (France); May 25 Barcelona (Catalonia, Spain); June 1 Mugello (Italy); June 29 Assen (Netherlands); July 6 Sachsenring (Germany); August 17 Spielberg (Austria); and September 7 Misano (Italy).
