Enel informs about the purchase of treasury shares between July 18th and 20th, 2022 serving its Long-Term Incentive Plan 2022 and about the conclusion of the share buyback program

Rome, July 25th, 2022 – Enel S.p.A. (“Enel” or the “Company”) announces that between July 18th and 20th, 2022 it purchased 415,600 treasury shares at a volume-weighted average price of 4.9134 euros per share on the Euronext Milan market organized and managed by Borsa Italiana S.p.A., for a total consideration of 2,042,010.604 euros.

The transaction follows up on the announcement on June 16th, 2022 concerning the start of a share buyback program (the “Program”), implementing the authorization granted by the Shareholders’ Meeting held on May 19th, 2022 and resolved to serve the Long-Term Incentive Plan 2022.

On the basis of the information provided by the intermediary engaged to execute the purchases, the following table summarizes, in daily and aggregate form, Enel ordinary shares’ purchases carried out by the intermediary on the Euronext Milan market during the period indicated above:

As a result of the above transactions, the Program started on June 17th, 2022, under which 2,700,000 Enel shares (equal to 0.026557% of the share capital) have been bought at a volume-weighted average price of 5.1951 euros per share, for a total consideration of 14,026,726.948 euros, has been completed. Considering the treasury shares already owned, Enel holds as of July 20th, 2022 a total of 7,589,152 treasury shares, equal to 0.074647% of the share capital.
